Wedding Invitations: It’s All in the Details

_0013128Your wedding invitations are one of the first things your guests see; they serve as a starting point for the rest of your wedding design. This is why it is important to pick an invitation that celebrates both of your styles and sets the tone for the wedding itself.

Elegant, romantic, classy or  formal and traditional, The Event Bar can help you to create a custom design that’s the perfect fit for your nuptials.

Addressing. In general, it’s proper etiquette to list the person you’re closest with first on the invitation, whether they’re male or female. If you’re equally close with both guests, follow tradition and name the male first. The same rule applies when addressing unmarried couples. For same-sex couples, list whomever you’re closest to or when in doubt, whomever comes first alphabetically.

Envelope Liners. Your envelope doesn’t have to be plain and boring. For the perfect surprise, add a custom envelope liner. Choose a photo, matching pattern or your initial to create a unique envelope liner.

Wording. What you say on your invitation depends on who is hosting the wedding. This usually means who is actually PAYING for the celebration. Here are a few examples.
